Why it matters
He designed the December 2024 expedition: 4 flat Earthers and 4 globe Earthers fly from Punta Arenas, Chile to Union Glacier Camp (~79° S), ~$35,000 per person, with ground rules agreed before departure - if the Sun is observed above the horizon for 24 continuous hours, the flat model is refuted. They livestreamed three days via Starlink and ran the independent checks: a 360-degree timelapse of the Sun circling, a paper + digital boarding pass with EXIF GPS data, on-site weight measurements, a 'no green screens' verification video. The 24-hour Sun was observed and admitted on camera. His verdict: 'The flat Earth community is imploding. They cannot decide what to believe.'
Lineage
Built on the flat-earth community's own challenge culture - the test was set up by the community's believers, not by its critics - and on the tilt math (the midnight-sun card).
